Nusa Lembongan

Nusa Lembongan is an small Island in south east coast of Bali. Nusa Lembongan offering magical white sand beaches with clear blue waters, fish saturated coral reefs and superb views across the ocean of Mount Agung on Bali.

Nusa Lembongan has several thousand locals, engaged in seaweed farming activities as well as serving tourist needs. Similarities to the Bukit Peninsula create a quiet environment, ideal for relaxation.

Nusa Lembongan’s under water have several sharks and a group of eagle rays on our first dive there and then Mola Mola ocean sunfish. To see the sunfish there has to be little current and the water has to be cold (we hit a thermocline and had 18°C). Depending on tide there is either a very strong current or nearly none. On the wild rides you try to hide behind some of the outcroppings or overhangs.

Blue Corner
Blue Corner, is located off the point of Nusa Lembongan, a long thin island just north-west of Nusa Penida is flushed with currents and stretches down to some very unsociable depths. This dive site is one of the most exciting dives of your life but you will need to make sure that you listen very carefully to the advice you receive from your divemaster. When you descend to about 18 - 20 meters the current grabs you and you begin the natural rollercoaster ride of a lifetime.

There is plenty to see as you race by, as the currents bring with them lots of food for the residents of the reef. The Nusa Lembongan currents also attract pelagic fish so keep an eye out in the deep blue for them and sunfish. Mola-Mola, in season, love to hang out here! You will also find Marbel rays, Eagle rays, nurse sharks, dogtooth tuna, to name but a few. Experienced divers only on this site!

Having done a back-roll off the boat, you descend to a slope starting at 10m. The slope has soft corals, puffer and boxfish. The current takes you round to the point, the corner, where there is a vertical wall, depth around 28m. Please note that it is not always possible to reach the corner due to the speed and direction of the currents.
