8 Days / 7 Nights Bima - Komodo - Bima Liveaboard
Day 1 – Bima – 1 Check Dive Arrival at Salahudin airport of Bima. Our representative will be waiting for you outside the arrival hall. Next, you will be transferred to busy traditional harbor of East Sumbawa to board Sea Safari Boat. Cabin allocation and ship orientation will take place beforehand. Lunch provided on board followed by check dive in Batu Putih . Dinner is served onboard.
Day 2 : Gili Lawa Laut & Gili Lawa Darat – 3 Day Dives + 1 Night Dive Welcome to the first day diving in Komodo National Park. Arrived early in the morning around the Bay of Gili Lawa, An outstanding diving location in this region, which will includes the sea mound and the drift diving of the point. A few dive points such as GPS Point and Crystal Bomie will leave you the opportunity to spot napoleon wrasse, sharks as well as turtles. Stunning corals and reefs will excite you on your full days diving in this area.
Day 3 : Nusa Kode – 3 Day Dives + 1 Night Dive Arrive in Nusa Kode early in the morning, breakfast, start diving. Dive sites are probably very famous in Komodo like ‘Cannibal Rock’, ‘ Wall of Texas’, ‘Banana Island’, and ‘ Torpedo Alley’ . Lunch and dinner will be served in between the dives. Night dive will be offered before dinner. This three meter pinnacle buried in the deep bay between these two island is covering with weird critters and coral garden on every inches of this area. This will include frog fish, ornate ghost pipefish, flying gunard, a tons of nudibranchs, pigmy seahorse, bluering octopus, zebra crab and the coleman shrimp ( onli living with the toxic sea urchin), marble Torpedo Ray. And many more to see. The ‘real home’ for ‘real critters’. Many dive sites around this bay will gurantee to make divers ‘addicted’.
Day 4 : Tora Longkoy – Padar – Lohoksera – 3 Day Dives + 1 Night Dive Arrive in Toro Longkoi. Here, one of the well-known dive sites is ‘Manta Ale’, located in the south west of Komodo. This is a home to famous manta cleaning station. This area is excellent wide-angle opportunity as the topography of this island is facing towards the wide-open Indian Ocean. The three rock between this deep bay is all covered by multicolor of soft coral and hard coral garden, leather coral, shark and number of large fish with many different species such as Jack, Tuna, Napoleon, Barracuda, and many other schools of fish. During the season of October – November, golden opportunity to snorkel and dive with Manta as they circle around you. This site is entitled with the most active area in Komodo. Lunch will be served onboard. Next, will be in Padar, Pillarsteen also known as ‘Pillar Rock’. This site is identified by a tiny pinnacle, just off the southern tip of small island east of Padar’s souther point. In honor to its designation on our old Dutch map. There are good caves at about 40 meters.Visibility averaged 10-12 meters. Also, night dive in Lohoksera. After night dive and dinner, we proceed to Rinca
Day 5 : Rinca – Pink Beach – Batu Bolong – Tatawa – Karang Makassar 1 Trekking + 2 Day Dives + 1 Night Dive Your boat anchors early in the morning in the famous Rinca Island that features the world’s most unusual wildlife attraction. A park ranger will escort you across the island ( about 4,5 km there and back ) to a viewing spot to safely watch the “ Komodo Dragons” at very close range. After this breathtaking encounter with the species from the Jurassic Age, we shall have lunch onboard. You will spend the remainder of the diving day in Komodo area. One of the best dive sites, Karang Makassar is usually a place to spot Manta Rays, if you are lucky enough. Also, another dive in the beautiful “ Red Beach “ of Komodo with its amazing marine gardens. You will also have a BBQ lunch on the beach.
Day 6 – Batu Monco – Banta - 3 Day Dives + 1 Night Dive The diving on this day will be includes in Batu Monco and Banta. After breakfast you take advantage of this world-class dive region. You will treated to an enormeous array of fish life as well as spectacular above water scenery. Don’t miss your night dive on this area. After night dive, cruise to a dormant volcanic Island, Sangeang.
Day 7 – Sangeang – 2 Day Dives The boat arrives early in the stunning volcanic island, Sangeang. Sea Safari welcomes you to enjoy the half days of diving at the one of the best dive site in the island. Lunch will be served onboard while the boat sailing back to Bima.
Day 8 – Bima – No Dive We arrive in Bima early in the morning. Breakfast onboard and prepare for disembarkation. Your trip ends in Bima and you will be transferred to Bima Airport to catch flight back to Denpasar. This concludes your unforgettable eight days seven nights sea journey with Sea Safari.
